PhD in Contemporary History from the University of Deusto (1993 ) and Bachelor of Arts (History Section ), University of Deusto (1988). Since 1997, Director of the Archivo Histórico Eclesiástico de Bizkaia /Bizkaiko Elizaren Histori Artxiboa ( AHEB – BEHA ) and Head of the Servicio Diocesano de Archivos (Diocesan Archives Service) of the Diocese of Bilbao. Coordinator of project of organization and creation of standards for organizing archives in diocesan institutions, parishes, etc.. Currently is member of the permanent project team Integral System Information Management in the Diocese of Bilbao. Since 2008: Director of the Center Icarus . Since 2010 works as a professor at School of Education Begoñako Andra Mari, Bilbao. Author of articles on the archival policy of the Diocese of Bilbao published in conference proceedings and journals (Atlanti, 2013; Arxius 2013; Actas Congreso Virtual de Innovación educativa, 2013; Actas congreso ACAL, 2012; Educació i arxius, 2011; Arxius, 2010; Tabula, 2008, Legajos, 2006; Profesional de la Información, 2005, Revista Documentación Digital, 2005; Lusitania Sacra, 2004, Letras de Deusto, 2003; Memoria Ecclesiae, 2003; Lligall, 2003 y 2002; Métodos de Información, 2002). Also the author of several articles related to the history of the Diocese of Bilbao published in various journals and publishers (Ayer, 2001; Historia Sacra, 2000, Alkarren Barri (Partner since 1997) , DDB, Colección Palimpsesto, 2003; Fundación Santamaría 2003) . Author of “Sacerdotes bajo la atenta mirada del régimen franquista” ( The socio-political conflicts of the Church in the Basque Country from 1960 to 1975), Desclée Brouwer , Bilbao, 1995. Since 1997, member of the Association of Archivists of the Church in Spain (AAIE ) and since 2006 general coordinator of the Working Group of Church Archives (GTAI). Since 2013, President of ALDEE (Basque Association of professionals of archives, libraries and documentation centers ).
